It slowly separates into different layers and starts to foam. Remove the top layer and continue heating up the remaining mixture on low flame.
Post 20 to 30 minutes, the ghee must be ready after all the heavy granulated particles settle down. Filter the same using a muslin cloth and store it in an airtight dry container that is free from moisture.
